Day Camp
Welcome to the Lake Forest Club Summer Day Camp!
Shark Camp is the name of our Day Camp Program, a six week program designed for children ages 3 - 10, which always includes a wide variety of exciting activities including arts, crafts, outdoor activities, fun and games, tennis, swim or swim team, volleyball, flag football, baseball, soccer, field games, visits from special guests and "in-house" field trips, and wacky science class. Program is differentiated and geared toward each age level. Shark Camp is open to members' children only.
Shark Camp 2010 theme is the "Tour of Chicago" which will lead our campers to various Chicago landmarks The Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute, The Field Museum, Wrigley Field, Chinatown, and more. It will be an exciting opporunity for the children to learn something about Chicago and have fun, too. Camp will have some visitors including Jarvis Brown, former Minnesota Twins outfielder.

Sandals and fashion "slip on" shoes are dangerous for such activities. Also, the following is an every day check list of items each camper should bring.

After swim time, counselors will dress a child into the clothes worn to camp. However, campers may arrive with a swimsuit under their T-shirt to expedite changing. Please label all clothing with the child's name including underwear, socks, swimsuit and towel. Items unclaimed and not properly labeled will be placed in the Club's lost and found bin.
When picking up a child, please walk to the child's group area and inform a staff member that the child is leaving. Of course, all contributions are strictly voluntary.
